Camping
Camping gives us time together away from the usual routine. My notes include tent camping and time with a Coleman 17B, the things we use on a trip, and the differences in each experience.
Fishing, kayaking, biking, and exploring outdoors are part of the wider interest. I am interested in the details that make a trip work for a family, from the campsite to the things we bring.
Places and observations
Michigan road trips connect travel with family and familiar places. Other trips bring different surroundings, food, and history, including time in New Orleans and the French Market.
I want these pages to hold the observations and context behind the photographs, so a trip remains more than a group of disconnected pictures.
