Connecting parts with applications
Research linking part references, component functions and equipment context.
The research structure
The John Deere application research brings together customer and White part numbers, descriptions and equipment context. Where available, it also records plant or account locations, the component’s function and the quantity used in an application.
Using the application context
That structure provides a starting point for more specific account discussions and further research.
A working resource
It remains a working resource, with repeated entries, incomplete fields and individual mappings that need verification.
Connecting the divested portfolio to OEM equipment
The case concerned components used inside agricultural, construction, and industrial equipment. That makes the connection between a part reference and its actual equipment application central to the customer relationship. My application research helps organize that connection within White’s post-divestiture business. Each mapping still requires verification; a product’s inclusion in a divestiture does not establish suitability for a particular machine.
