Historical pricing and portfolio context
Historical commercial information used in discussions about product coverage and customer needs.
Commercial context
Commercial records often carry context that is difficult to see in a current product list. Historical pricing and OEM part references were useful starting points for understanding the wider relationship.
Distributor discussions
My work with this information supported discussions with distributors about the products White continued to offer. It also informed conversations about opportunities elsewhere in the Interpump group.
Related opportunities
The practical value was in bringing relevant background to those discussions and considering where the available portfolio could support the customer.
Pricing and portfolio knowledge after divestiture
The antitrust divestiture gives this historical work a larger purpose. A commercial team serving customers after a business separation needs to understand which products it can support and how earlier part references and pricing relate to the current portfolio. My use of historical information supported those customer and distributor discussions; an old reference alone does not establish current availability or contractual rights.
