Commercial terms in practice

Following commercial terms through to customer questions and account work.

Commercial terms

One example at White involved minimum-order terms that had not carried through to billing. My involvement was in addressing the customer issue and the related follow up.

Customer follow up

Other discussions concerned surcharge communication and the handling of billing questions. These examples reflect the attention that account work requires after terms have been agreed.

Commercial continuity after the separation

The Danfoss–Eaton case is the background to the business in which this work took place. Commercial continuity also depends on how agreed terms reach orders, billing, and customer communication. My examples show that operating detail inside the post-divestiture business. They do not, by themselves, establish that the merger or divestiture caused a particular billing issue.
