The collection
Rockhounding and collecting are among the interests I want to make more room for here. I enjoy noticing a find, looking more closely at it, and learning what it might be.
Keeping the context
I am working toward a better record of the collection: a photograph, where a piece came from when I know it, and notes about identification. An uncertain identification should stay uncertain until there is better evidence.
This fits alongside camping and travel, where the things I bring home often have a story attached to the place.
